Texas & Tennessee

Singer-songwriter, recording artist and author STEVE GILLETTE hosts his “Texas and Tennessee” each day during the Kerrville Folk Festival. The daily 5 PM one-hour song circle under the big oak tree behind the festival office is a chance for songwriters to sing their songs and have discussion and critique in a fairly informal “campfire” type of setting. Gillette, who is a frequent songwriter school faculty member, conducts the daily small gathering limited to about seven or eight writers each day. Sign-up sheets can be found outside the office by the payphones.
