ON THE QUIET VALLEY RANCH DURING NON-FESTIVAL TIMES
The
Campgrounds on the Quiet Valley Ranch are open year-round.
It’s a great place for that get-away-from-it-all experience.
Come out with your family, friends, co-workers, club, or
just yourself. Those of you who have been here during one
of our Festivals know what a great place this is to relax.
Just imagine how tranquil it is without the festival crowd.
Tent Camping rates are just $5 per night per person (14
days maximum stay). Call
us at (830) 257-3600 for information or to let us know when
you will be arriving.
Many
of the QV Ranch facilities such as the stages, pavilion,
kitchens, etc. are also available for you or your group
for an additional fee. Contact Rick Wright at (830)
377-3253 if you would like to discuss availability and fee structures.
The
Quiet Valley Ranch RV Park is open year-round also. Non-festival
rates are $15 per night, $300 per month ($20 per night for
a 50-amp hookup). Rates subject to change.

QUIET
VALLEY RANCH CAMPSITE RULES (NON FESTIVAL TIMES):
The Quiet Valley Ranch is a peaceful, quiet spot where we
want to give campers and tenants a place to relax, recharge
and experience the magic of the ranch without the crowds.
With this in mind, we urge you to comply with the
following rules. Failure
to do so may result in your ejection from the Ranch.
GENERAL
RULES:

SPEED
LIMIT
- Ranch speed limit is FIVE
(5) MILES PER HOUR.
This applies to all vehicles including golf carts,
tractors, and even bicycles.
This is for safety and to keep the dust down.
·
AGE
No one under 18 years of age may camp without a parent our
legal guardian present.
·
TRASH
Campers are responsible for the trash in their area.
Please make sure that all garbage is properly
disposed of in the provided, lined trash barrels.
Try to secure trash from the critters.
Recycle bins are available upon request.
Do Not Throw Cigarette Butts On The Ground!

PETS
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when outside
and should not be left unattended when guests are off the
ranch. Were a
little more lenient with cats, but cannot be held
responsible for injuries due to vehicles or wild animals.
Pets that bite or scratch anyone will be required to
leave. Droppings
Must Be Picked Up and Disposed Of In a Sanitary Manner.
All pet owners must have proof that their pets are up
to date on vaccines or inoculations.

ALCOHOL
Alcohol consumption by adults of legal age is allowed,
although loud, disruptive
or violent behavior resulting from intoxication will not be
tolerated. It
is the responsibility of the camper / tenant to enforce
underage drinking laws among all members of their group.
·
LOUD,
BOISTEROUS, OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR
Please try to observe quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
We want everyone to have a good time, but please be
considerate of others who live and/or work on the ranch.
The odd howl at the moon is permitted, but
there is no need for incessant screaming.
The playing of music, recorded or otherwise, should
be for personal enjoyment only and should not be heard
outside of your immediate area.
No Public Nudity.
Public display and/or use of illegal substances are
strictly prohibited.

GUESTS
AND VISITORS Registered campers / tenants are responsible for their guests and
their guests conduct.
Guests must observe all campground rules.
Guests on the ranch after 10 p.m. will be charged a
$5 overnight camping fee regardless of whether they stay the
night.

RESPECTING
THE RANCH
Maintaining the natural beauty of the Quiet Valley Ranch
is important to us. Altering,
defacing or damaging the property is prohibited.
Cutting of trees or shrubs is not allowed.
DO
NOT DRIVE
NAILS OR SCREWS INTO LIVE TREES!
Digging, grading, building, or the planting of
anything without prior consent of the campground management
is prohibited. If
you need trimming or grounds maintenance performed in your
area, see the campground host.

PEST
CONTROL The use of poisons or insecticides by campers / tenants
is prohibited. The
use of diatomaceous Earth is allowed.
If you need ant or pest control performed in your
camping area, please see the campground host.
·
CAMPFIRES
Open fires should be within fire rings, bbq grills, or
outdoor type fireplaces.
Fires are not allowed during periods of excessive
drought or when
Kerr
County
has issued a county wide burn ban.
During periods of a burn ban, only charcoal fires in
bbq grills are allowed.
Gathering of firewood on the property is not
permitted, even if you find wood that is already cut.
Do not burn fires under trees, branches, or next to
wooden structures. Fires
MUST be attended at all times, and must be completely
extinguished before retiring for the night or departing the
campsite.

FIREARMS
AND FIREWORKS
Firearms are not permitted on the ranch unless the owner
has a legal permit. Discharging
of firearms is not allowed.
Fireworks are not permitted unless expressed
permission has been given by the campground management and
provided there is not a burn ban.
If you have permission to shoot fireworks, please
observe safety precautions and pick up the shrapnel.

WILDLIFE
Do not approach or feed wild animals you may encounter.
Hunting is not permitted at any time.
·
AREAS
THAT ARE OFF LIMITS
Campers/tenants are not allowed to enter or congregate
in any theater areas without prior permission.
Other areas that are off limits include offices, tool
sheds, the pavilion, kerr-try store, unoccupied RVs, or any
other permanent structures.
The entire backstage area is off limits!
Picnic tables, bbq pits, benches, etc should not be
moved or relocated from their current locations.

MAIL
Campers/tenants are requested to obtain and use a PO Box for
personal mail. We
would appreciate it if you would not have personal mail sent
to the ranch.
RV
PARK RULES (in addition to the general rules):

RATES
30 amp RV Hook-up sites are $15 per night or $90 per
week or $300 per month.
Rates include electricity, water, and sewer hook-ups
(sewer available only in the Main RV section.
50 amp RV hook-up sites are $20 per night, $120 per
week, and $400 per month.
RV Park fees should be paid in advance unless other
arrangements have been made.
Monthly rent is due on the 1st of the
month.

OCCUPANCY
The above rates are based on one or two person
occupancy. Additional
occupants will require an additional $5 per night fee ($100
additional per month for monthly tenants).
·
AVAILABILITY
OF SITE DURING FESTIVALS
Most of the RV sites, especially in the Main
section are pre-reserved for the festivals and may not be
available during festival time.
All off-season RVs must be removed from their spots
one week prior to the start either festival.
If you want to stay for a festival, we will TRY to
accommodate you and your request for location.
Festival rates for RV sites are $30 per night in the
Main section and $25 per night in the meadow.
You must also have festival tickets.

VEHICLES
A maximum of two motorized vehicles (not counting the
RV) per campsite are permitted.
·
SITE
MODIFICATIONS
Physical site modifications or construction are not
permitted without expressed permission.
·
DAMAGE
The Quiet Valley Ranch is not responsible for damage to
your vehicles due to hail, wind, flooding, or other weather
related instances including freezing conditions.
·
RV
STORAGE
Recreational vehicles, trailers, and pop-up campers may
be stored on the property for the rate of $30 per month,
$300 per year. If
the rig is stored in an RV spot it must be removed one week
prior to the beginning of the festival.
TENT
CAMPING RULES (in addition to the general rules):

RATES
Tent camping fees are $5 per night per person.
Group rates are available.

A single camping stay may not exceed fourteen (14)
consecutive days.

WHERE
TO CAMP
Tent camping is open and first come first served.
Most open areas in the campgrounds are open for tent
camping with the exception of numbered RV sites, roads, and
permanent structures.
·
VEHICLES
Motorized vehicles must be parked on open grassy or gravel
areas. Please do
not park or drive vehicles under trees as it may damage the
root systems. A
maximum of two motorized vehicles per campsite are
permitted.
·
SITES
WITH ELECTRICITY
For an additional fee, tent campers may utilize
electrical outlets that are scattered throughout the tent
camping area. These
are $5 per night per plug used (in addition to the normal
camping rates)
·
SITE
ALTERATIONS
Campers may not physically alter their site(s) in any
way without prior authorization.
·
CAMPING
GEAR
Be sure to take all of your gear when you leave.
Be sure to pull all tent stakes.
We
like to think of the Quiet Valley Ranch as a healing place,
not a hideout. Please
dont let your activities outside of the ranch, legal or
personal, encroach on this wonderful property.
Conduct that may endanger the welfare of any person,
this property, or the events that occur here is not
appreciated.
