One of the
highlights of our festival environment is the Crafts Village located in the
Kennedy Outdoor Theater. Each year, artisans from all over the country set up booths to
sell everything from fine art to hats to clothing to yard art to pottery to
silver to beaded jewelry. The Crafts Village is open from 6 p.m. to
closing (about midnight) on each of the 11 Main-Stage Performance Nights during the 18-day
festival.
Booths are
either 8’x8’ ($425) or 10’x10’ ($500). Each booth is equipped with lighting and most have additional
electrical service. The booths are of “pole barn” construction with tin roof
and relatively level dirt floors. Some have wooden decking, although you cannot
be guaranteed to get one of these.
Our artisan
selections are juried. We prefer to have vendors who hand craft their own
products. We tend to limit the number of jewelry and imported product vendors.
Massage therapists, healers, etc are welcome, but we only allow a couple of
these to set up for each festival. We do not want vendors to sell drug
paraphernalia, or cheap imported trinkets and toys (hand made toys are
acceptable). You can sell incense or similar products, but the burning of
incense or smudge sticks in the crafts village is prohibited. For a complete
listing of Craft Village rules and policies

We are NOT
accepting applications from FOOD VENDORS. We are already set up in that area.
