line up, Ray
Benson is founder, lead singer and guitarist for the
full-tilt boogie and western swing band, Asleep At
The Wheel. Since 1969, AATW has released 20 albums
and earned a reputation as a rug-cutting live act.
Their genre-bending hybrid of American roots music
styles has won six Grammy awards and multiple honors
from the Academy of Country Music, Country Music
Association and Rolling Stone. AATW member and
Master fiddler and mandolinist Johnny Gimble, one of
western swing's legendary players will be joining
Ray.
