Originally
from San Antonio, Karen first appeared at Kerrville
as part of the 1996 Blues Project. She was
also a New Folk finalist in 1998 and main stage
performer both the 2002 Kerrville Folk and Wine
& Music Festivals.
Always
a powerful and energetic performer, she moves people
with her vocal prowess and range of songwriting
styles. The most common phrase used to
describe her live performances is "Karen
Rocks".....indeed she does!
