Since we usually sell out of the
RV hook-up sites for larger rigs, we want you to know that you are still
welcome to come out during the festival and set up without hook-ups elsewhere
in the campgrounds.
For those of you who want an alternative location
to hook up, we are referring our overflow RV campers to Koyote Ranch, just 5
1/2 miles south of the Quiet Vally Ranch on TX Hwy 16 (toward Medina).
Koyote Ranch resort is the
next generation of camping located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.
A true outdoor resort featuring fully appointed log cabins, oversized
RV sites with full hook-ups, patios and landscaped yards, tent camping and a
beautiful B & B. Located on 95
acres the resort offers 3 lakes, hiking trails, and an activity pool and spa.
Also on the property is Koyote Mercantile a general store complete with
deli / grill and Biergarten All cabins are air conditioned and range in size
from 1 room that sleeps 4, to 1 bedroom w/loft, to 2 bedroom with loft that
sleeps up to 10. RV sites have
full hook-ups with 50 amp power and cable TV.
Only 12 acres have been developed with the rest of the property being
dedicated to wildlife and hiking trails. Koyote Ranch is located less than 6
miles from Quiet Valley Ranch on scenic Hwy 16. Due to the curves on HWY 16
between
Quiet
Valley
and Koyote Ranch it is recommended that all RV’s and motor homes take an
alternate route. Take HWY 173
south from
Kerrville
to Hwy 2828, turn right to Hwy 16 and come back north through
Medina
to Koyote Ranch. To learn more visit them at www.koyoteranch.com
or give them a call at 830-589-HOWL (4695).
